One of the objectives of Snellius is to improve the quality of the education of our master programm. On this page you can find information on what our Commissioner of Education is about and how you can contribute yourself to improving eduction.

Commissioner of Education

The Commissioner of Education of Snellius is the main connection between the students and the education programm. The Commissioner of Education helps orginizing feedback-lunches, where you can give feedback on the courses you followed that quarter. This feedback will than later be discussed with the teachers of the course. The Commissioner of Education also forms the Student Response Groups at the beginning of the year that will attend these feedback-lunches. During these meetings, free lunch will be provided.

Options to give your feedback

EvaSys

The EvaSys surveys are created quarterly for each course and are distributed at the end of a quarter by the instructor(s) of that course via Brightspace and/or the mail. These surveys address various aspects of a course and are an accessible way to share your feedback on courses. Completion takes approximately 5 minutes per course. The surveys are anonymous, but when personal details are shared in the open questions, the results might be traceable to you.

Student Response Group

If you would like to be more intensely involved in the quality of education and be in direct contact with the faculty within CEG, you can apply to participate in the Student Response Group. Our Commissioner of Education forms a response group at the beginning of the year to discuss the quarter's courses. Representatives from the Student Response Group attend review meetings to discuss feedback with faculty. You do not have to be a member of the student body to join the response group. If you are interested in participating in the Student Response Group, please send an e-mail to snellius@tudelft.nl.

Participation councils

Within CEG two more participation councils deal with the quality of education and facilities. These are the Board of Studies (OC) and Faculty Student Council (FSR). If you are interested in participating in one of these councils you can find more information on the pages of the various councils.

Board of Studies (OC)

The OC is an independent committee within CEG, and may (unsolicited) advice on the quality of education. Via this site, you can find more information about the OC of Applied Earth Science. In the OC, every discipline of the master is represented by a student of that discipline.

Faculty Student Council (FSR)

The FSR is a participatory body that has a say in faculty policy through various means. Through this site, you can find more information about the FSR.
